For me, I'd go what ever has the best package. I wouldn't limit myself to thinking I had to go one way or the other. That Bullet SC kit looks sick!

Depends on which sc they are using to get that kick down low... some are just like turbos with what rpm range the fi starts.

Currently not a whole lot shares any similarities in regards to the FA20. Especially since the fact that the FA20/FA20DIT is a brand new engine cast. The EJ series has a plethora of Frankenstein combinations, like EJ25 blocks with EJ22 heads and what not. If your planning on doing a Frankenstein on the FA20, you may have to wait several years for any viable option assuming Subaru does push forward with a FA25 or higher displacement variant, even if it may not be anywhere cost friendly seeing as how your dealing with all new manufactured parts. -Josh

Sure, I was just using the generalised characteristic of SCs and their ability to hand out even power/torque increases across the board, rather than at that peak rev range. Of course its not a given and will depend on the overall set-up. I'm in for the long run, so I won't be diving in anytime soon. Looks to be a interesting place to be

I think I'll make a decision a few years down the track when we've seen the medium-term reliability of these engines with forced induction. I would think it's too early to comment.
