All the more reason to meet up sooner rather than later you should get some good winter tires for your 86 - you'll have a blast in the snow! As for gas, fill up at Shell and use 91 V-Power (no ethanol, so no crickets!) none of that Husky crap lol

Yeah, I saw some threads to that effect... ethanol being the cause of the crickets sound... but, I don't really hear anything... exhaust is kind of loud though, so that probably helps.

Probably going to garage it over the winter...

I have the TRD exhaust as well and I could hear the crickets loud and clear :p it might take a bit to hear them - after 1500 Kim's they kicked in, but now as long as there's not ethanol no crickets.

Yeah your car is brand new, I understand why you want to store it. If you do decide to take it out, it's such a fun car in the snow! It handles surprisingly well even in snowstorm conditions (with good winter tires).

Yeah.. may oil spray and drive... but I dunno, my last fun car had so much rust... I'de go over a bump and part of the car would fall off.. like the part of the door that holds the dome light sensor switch in... or the exhaust...

I've always wanted to meet you actually

If were going to do this, it has to be before Saturday. I'm planning to store the car this weekend since the temperature is going to drop drastically on Sunday. (Showing +2 with snow)

Wow, that's brutal. I've driven mine through two winters and no issues with rust - I just wash it frequently to avoid the salt sitting on it.
