Just need to gripe: Something over a year ago, I put a what I thought, was an OEM (from Ebay) timing kit in my wife's 2010 Outback. Last March, the car quit. No compression. Rather that rehab the Outback, we got a 2024 Forester. (Momma is happy)
I sold the Outback to a retired mechanic. Last week he told me the timing belt had snapped in half and that the tensioner was leaking. The obvious lesson: You can't trust $h%t from Ebay even if it's in OEM boxes. |

+1
I also learned that lesson the hard way years ago. I've noticed some pretty sketchy stuff even on Amazon lately. It's the Wild West all over.

We've been seeing an uptick in cancelations due to covid or covid exposure.

For some reason, neither of us had boosters within the past year. I'm getting back onto that train as soon as the most recent version is available. We're hearing late September or October.

I didn’t go, but at my family reunion I think up around 20 people got it.

Two days of feeling down versus... I dunno. It's been over a month and I'm still not fully recovered.
You do you.
