@Tcoat https://www.protuninglab.com/lsm-frs12g-rs.html

I have these superglued in place and they've survived a lot on off/on bumper activity. They fit perfectly flush with the fender too.
If my phone would let me upload through Imgur I'd link an image of it.
Edit::

At least here you can see that it survived my adventure and stayed on!

For what it's worth I've run my smoked helix markers for 2.5 years now. No cracking, no leaks, and no issues with them popping out by themselves.

60k kms, all weather conditions. Doesn't get nearly as cold on the wet coast here as Ontario though so YMMV.

Ya you would have been disappointed. Not worth the shipping.

I heard/read too many horror stories about most aftermarket side markers eventually fogging/hazing or getting water in them. I went with Valenti Jewel LED Side Markers. Nothing but good reviews on those, but they are more expensive.

I also have a GCS smoked 4th brake light that I installed around the same time, and is also still going strong. Looks great with the 2017+ taillights.

Glad to be of service

The side markers were of course meaningless on the lava but they stand out like blinkin' beacons on the green.
The back up lights also looked fine with the chrome trim around the 14 tail light housings and the FRS badge but it just looks out of place with no other shiny bits. Especially since I am also changing the Toyota badges to satin black ones.
I want it all to tie together with as few random spots of colour as possible.

Smoked would probably draw less attention than clear. Honestly I'd just drop your stock ones off at the local body shop and have them smoked and cleared. Literally have the shop scuffed/600g them and then use some left clear with some black basecoat mixed into it. A few coat to kill the orange without completely killing light's output. Swap in some bright LED bulbs during reinstall so you still are helpful to other motorist. Don't want that beauty smashed.

This way you don't have to fuck with poorly made aftermarket parts that may or may not last. It should cost the shop more than 20min of time so the cost should be similar.

Oh there is no way I would use clear since it would defeat the whole purpose of changing them. I will just buy quality ones so I don't have to mess around with them. By the time I paid shop rates for someplace to alter the amber ones I could probably buy two sets of good ones.
