Wish I could have made it last night... I just couldn't do two trips to KW within 12 hrs of each other. Looking forward to next time.
Didn't look like you, but I could be wrong. Did you honk and wave at another series 10?

Thanks GrimmSpeed!

Tempers flair at the KW Area Group Install meet. (details at eleven)

What started as a simple missunderstanding of who got to use the torque wrench next turned ugly when swords were drawn. It could've been a massacre! Children were fleeing, confussion reigned, the inner savage warrior had been released and was out for blood.

Then, just when things were at their bleakest, a brave man stood with words of true wisdom.

"So... who in for Pints?"

The story of the great battle (and the post battle pints) will be told for generations to come.

Sadly, might not have been me...I didn't honk or wave at anyone today...only because I didn't notice! I'm usually too busy trying not to get lost when I am in KW. I've driven in Ireland, France, Russia, Hawaii, New York and San Francisco...but Kitchener confuses the hell out of me.

ps: This is who parked beside me. Such a sweeeet setup!

Oh and another thing... has anyone seen this car from Burlington? The Scion rep at Redhill drives it. Very impressed with the colour, although not normally a fan of matte or satin finishes on cars. A little to "boy racer" for me but I think it's gorgeous...

Is that paint? I thought it was a vinyl wrap.

Also, can anyone who got clear sidemarkers PM me who/where (with a link if possible please ) they got them from? The place where I ordered my center console armrest from seems to have the sidemarkers for $60, and that seems to be a lot cheaper than everyone else... but I still haven't received my armrest from them, so I'm hesitant to order from the site again.

Or can we order them through Toyota yet?

If its vinyl then I may see a change coming in the spring lol....

Did you order your armrest from the same site I did? It was on back order when I did mine and I think it was 3 weeks.

Speaking to the matte orange FR-S that I posted pictures of...it is plasti dip, but applied with a professional grade paint sprayer (not hand sprayed out of cans). Vinyl would look just as nice though!

I find vinyl wraps only look best when they are perfectly clean. Any dirt and it completely ruins the effect. They also only look their best on a sunny day. I thought about wrapping my C6 in matte black vinyl wrap but after seeing some examples of them not looking their best - because at that point they just look like half-finished paint jobs or even like spray paint - I decided against it.

86 ZN6, yeah. Ordered the armrest June 13th, I was very patient and eventually emailed about it on July 14th, had a frustrating back and forth until August 19th when he finally said he'd considered it lost in transit and will ship a new one with a tracking number. The guy's responses were terrible single line email replies with no formalities, minimal details, and seemed very dismissive and rushed. I read the user's store ratings on here and there are a lot of reviews saying essentially the same thing.

After telling me that it would be re-shipped with a tracking#, I still haven't gotten another email. Confirmation would be nice, or even the tracking# so I can keep an eye on the shipment.

So yeah, I'm not exactly jumping at the thought of buying anything else from the site, even if it's 30% cheaper than anywhere else I can find.

Ok, go here and put your name in, and the Mondays you would be fine with. Whichever day gets the most people, we can go with that day. I put 8 weeks from the start of September to the first week in November (there are 2 Mondays where they are not running the program).

As for this week and pints, I'm good with the normal date of Thursday nights, and meeting in the Turtle Jacks parking lot (near the Galaxy).

Bump.
