I wasn't saying that the Toyota of America execs can override the guys from Japan. I was saying that I wouldn't be surprised if Toyota of Japan didn't let Toyota of America market and brand this car as they see best fit to get the maximum amount of sales, especially in today's global economy. Not all MNC's (Multinational Corporations) keep and enforce 100% complete control over their international branches. Infact, thats a decreasing trend among MNC's.

I don't want it to be branded a scion, I just have little hope that the pencil pushers at the HQ will do anything but brand it a scion.
