Here is one taken in the Santa Cruz Mountians on the edge of Big Basin Redwoods State Park.

And here is one in the mountains above Big Sur.

Great thread. Now that I found it, I will try and get some with signage behind the car, or a more identifiable view.

Love that first photo! It looks like you are running in "active stealth" mode.

On the first day (today), I took my BRZ on a nice drive along Mulholland drive in Los Angeles. Breathtaking views of LA plus a winding road equals driving heaven!

HAHA, I love the big chicken... Always impressed me seeing that as a kid! I like the look it appears to be giving your car too. It describes the look people give when they watch our car go by doesn't it?

Man, I spent about 30 minutes trying to find a good place to take photos at Valley Forge today. I'm going to have to go back and drive a little slower this time. If I knew we had this thread I would've spent more time looking!

Glacier NP

I just got back from a thoroughly enjoyable road trip and had this topic in mind during the whole drive, and hopefully have some stuff that others will find interesting.

Glacier National Park, on the Going to the Sun Road.

Egg Mountain Quarry

I had a chance to visit my sister while she was on a dig with Montana State University / Museum of the Rockies.

This site was about 10 miles west of Choteau, MT, where they were working on a dinosaur egg quarry.

Oh man, now THAT is a drive worth taking for any of you who've never been. Hopefully you didn't get stuck behind too many campers.

Pike's Peak

I bought Mine in Denver Colorado and drove it back to Los Angeles, so we took backroads all the way out of Colorado and started with a trip to the top of Pikes Peak, We passed 100 miles on the odo somewhere on the trip up to the peak.

and on the way back down, scenic pullout.

and random Vegas parking structure on the way through we stopped for buffet.

We picked up the car, the morning of July 3rd and drove thru Vegas, just in time for the all the fireworks shows on the Strip.
