A Week or so ago, I removed my Tomei UEL headers, and OFT Stage 2+ flash.

I dont miss them at all. I hated the rumble and the low end doesnt bother me as much as I thought it would.

also my MPG have gone back up 3-5mpg on average.

My car is awaiting spring in the garage, so I have connected the battery to the pulse charger to keep it fully charged (Ctek MXS5)

Pretty sweet, what are you going to do with it? Got my kids some high power handhelds so they can spend more time out in the woods without having to backtrack just to check in. Still waiting for someone to bitch about being on GMRS channels, it will be hilarious when one of the kids passes their FCC call sign phonetically.

My girlfriend got one on her STI also. Now when we do trips together in both cars (autocross, for example) we will be better able to chat and communicate along the way. That's all we really got it for. I just got carried away and wanted these because they seemed more fun, lol. And then I got carried away with the antenna. And as of Monday I got even more carried away because I had the body shop drill a hole in my trunk so I could install an NMO mount and put an antenna on more cleanly, lol.

That should work great. Did you get your license/call sign?

WRCS648... though I was just made aware of the existence of vanity call signs, so... that may change if they allow those for GMRS licensees.

I'm going EL with my turbo install, because the rumble of UEL makes the car sound lazy / uninspired. It's neat for a while, but I think after a year or two, we find our own truths in what we truly enjoy in this car. This community is fairly accepting of this compared to other enthusiast forums, it's nice.

Installed new wiper blades. When I was getting them from the parts guy at the local dealership they started to ask front or back before catching themselves and remembering BRZ only has front.

Took my new radio out, soldered some wires, put it back in, took it out, fiddled, put it back in. Now my radio stations work!
