Re: Wastegate

I'm trying to do some pre assembly while I'm waiting around on my other components. I'd like wastegate pressure to be pretty low(6 psi). Anyone with a Boost control solenoid remember what colour of spring they put in their Tial wastegate??

Thanks for the help!

You should use the smallest spring which I believe is the yellow one. The boost solenoid allows you to go higher boost then the wastegate spring but not lower. Therefor you should always use the smallest spring which I believe is 4.x lbs

The box should state what spring was installed, but I would never trust that and open it up to verify and make sure you have the correct spring in there.

Mine did not come with a spring in it. Maybe because mine was drop shipped to me? but you are right always trust but verify.

To those that got their kits already, how long did it take to receive the rest of your kit? I got the intercooler, the turbo and a couple misc parts last Saturday but nothing else yet...

Mine came in two shipments a few weeks apart. Oil pan returns caused a delay so it was shipped directly to my installer
