Doing a borescope every oil change is a good cheap preventative measure, and also pretty painless. Since you have the original image you can compare against to see if anything might have broken off to warrant opening the pan.

Considering that you can't see up the oil pickup tube to the screen, it doesn't really give you any information. Just like the video you shared.

But it would take a person to put it on. Robots would struggle with that. People are expensive. Robots are cheap. There is a bigger picture involved.

It does show that the RTV noodles are intact (which would indicate currently there are no issues in regards to RTV).

But they seem fairly thick and there are some places where it looks like theres potential to sag and break off in a big chunk. I dont know how brittle or gooey these things become after installation and experiencing constant heat changes.

Not sure if they'll see it, but Verus put up a youtube video of theirs with RTV in it. ETA: they have an 86 so maybe not helpful.

Not on this forum that I recall. But as others have mentioned versus engineering have also found silicon in their cars pick up which was documented on YouTube.

And this guy from Canada.

Might be worth it to reach out for a larger sample size. Hope this helps.
