Wifey and I took a ride out on the Cherohala Skyway https://www.visitmonroetn.com/cherohala-skyway and stopped at Bald River Falls. https://www.fs.usda.gov/r08/cherokee...ld-river-falls Did not crash.
It's that time of the year. Lots of Leaf Lookers out. The Skyway is a great driving road. Not as many sharp turns as the Dragon but some good straight runs where you can pass and speed.
We have had very little rain this month so the Falls is bit low on water. It was closed for several months. They built an observation deck.

Wifey and I visited the Buc-ee's in Sevierville, TN, just off I-40, exit 407, today, did not crash. First time at a Buc-ee's. Wow, 120 gas pumps, a 250-foot car wash, and 22 electric vehicle charging stations. Ate a few snacks from their bakery, very crowded.

Took the twin on an overnight journey to a fancy hotel in Boise. Had a great time. Had a real good dinner.

Changed the car's tune to "valet mode" for the first time.

Both the valet and I did not crash.

Speaking of "valet", I drove my FRS down to the medical center this week. Due to my medical condition (laziness), I used their free valet service. Why? Because the parking lot is usually full and it's about 1/4 mile away - UP HILL, yes, really.

The ol' boy (about 60ish) that retrieved my car said to me, as he stumbled out of my car, "how do you get into and out of this thing every day"?!

No, I didn't wreck it - because I didn't have to back up -

I'm curious too. Are these the original set, Michelin Primacy HP, that came with the car or another set?

At 42K miles I'm on my 3rd set of tires. The Michelins lasted only 20K miles, second set BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S Plus 22K miles, down to the wear bars. They are 6 1/2 years old so out of warranty. I don't track or drive like the car is stolen.
You may think I'm crazy but I'm getting tired of paying big bucks for tires that only last half of their warranty so I got these cheap Blackhawk tires, 215/45R17 91W XL, for $54.34, $18 installation each, from Walmart. https://blackhawktireusa.com/en-us/plt/tires/uhp-as/
I've had them for ~2 weeks. They are quiet and ride well. Not bad for cheap Chinese tires.

I primarily used my FRS as a commuter, and was very happy with the Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus I switched to after the Primacies gave up their useful life.

If you look at the index of my Owner's page you'll see where I replaced them twice. I got close to 70,000 miles out if each pair.
