I think videos help me better than reading, because of my short attention span. I read one page then have a hard time focusing again. Or I just fall asleep.

Granted, the presenter has to be *somewhat* exciting and not monotone...

I have a really tough time studying unless there's some externally imposed pressure. I do much better in a classroom environment than when trying to do it on my own.

Same here! My boss said if I can get certified soon, I'll be in the running for promotion when next round of selections come up close to the end of the year.

I lost my hunger from before I got this job. Have to get that back again so I can stay motivated. Think I reached my limit in my current position, both mentally and technically skill wise.

First time I actually remembered to bring my earplugs. It's nice not having ringing ears for hours/the next day after

Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem like it's female DNA making this situation complicated....

So, I hate to admit it, but I went from being an A student in high school to being a C student in college because I went to a liberal arts college and nothing was worth a grade except papers and tests. I can't learn reading a chapter in a book. I'm a hands-on learner. There was homework, but it wasn't worth a grade. Without the incentive, I didn't do it, didn't know the material, didn't do well on the tests.

It sucks too because I could've gotten a better job off the bat if I had done a little better, instead I've been stuck in this hellhole for five years.

Oh, and happy hump day haha
