Im not a fan of silver to begin with but goodness that makes the black plastic trim pieces on the front bumper stick out like a sore thumb.

I want to see it in white, and also the dark grey.

Yes - where are all the mad-skillz photoshoppers this time around?

In fact the overall level of interest in this second-gen seems pretty low, both on this forum and elsewhere.

I think once some journalists actually get a shot to drive the thing and give their impressions we may see the hype pick up. That is of course if the car is actually good.

I see no reason it won't be. They fixed the one issue with the car and didn't seem to mess with the rest of the formula too much.

I can't wait to hear impressions of people other that that one guy Subaru chose to ferry around all those journos.
Driver: "Yeah it handles so much better"
Journo: "I mean, I believe you I guess..."

It would be great if they upped the refinement level some to match the MX-5’s, specifically in interior appointments, engine note, and ride quality. The higher rigidity of the new chassis should allow for more of the latter without sacrificing handling. And the engine sounds a bit better in videos. But without using front wishbones (as the MX-5 does) maybe there is only so much that can be done for the ride/handling balance. (Porsche itself has gone to front wishbones on its new GT3.)

Agreed - but Scott Speed does know how to drive at least. And IIRC he didn’t really talk about the handling being better, it was more about how the engine’s fatter power band made the car much more throttle-adjustable in corners.

Yeah don't get me wrong, You can see that he's telling it like it is, and I was just being silly, none of the journo's reacted like that, they were all having too much fun to be snide, from what I saw.

Asteroid impact craters. They're a trendy styling thing nowadays. The Honda Civic Type R has the biggest and ugliest ones.
