Ok so I have this harness as an example. This one came with a jumper wire, so this one doesn't need to be repinned. Now the CC3 has a ground wire pinned to the slot that I'm pointing to and the pin to the right has the trigger wire. So I swapped the pins.

Here's the thread on the old Joying units that you had to repin.

I'm curious about a unit like this just so I can run Torque app and use it to display gauges.

Does the now playing screen support any audio playback? For example if I start some playback with Spotify will the now playing screen show that?

Did you manage to feed that RCA cable for the backup cam? I added one on my car and if I recall I used a little Vaseline. It's funny they say the camera is 1920x1080 yet it's running over RCA. RCA doesn't even come close to running 1920x1080. It would be cool if you could tie in a PoE camera as a backup camera. Then you could get some high quality video into it.

The widget is only for the built in music player. I can't get the damn thing past the neck of the car side of the tube

The camera I got had a compact connector that wasn't too hard to pass through the tube. Once it was through you would then connect it to a pigtail that had the full sized RCA connector. I'm trying to remember how I got it through, maybe I used a coat hanger. It's been a while.

This one is a full RCA so it's making it tough

Maybe someone makes an RCA cable with some sort of slim interconnect in the middle.

Use soap and water to lubricate it. Helps to use fish tape.
