Absolutely will not fit, even with 3mm spacers it will not fit.

How much spacer would be required?

I ran 17x9 +42 up front with OEM spring perch, it's doable if your 245/40 tire doesn't run wide, like these A052s here do.

However, it's not ideal to run that much tire up front on a wide wheel if you can't dial in useful negative camber. With stock top hats, I couldn't do much up front (crash bolts would've just moved the wheel and tire closer to the edge of the spring perch) which kinda negated some of the benefits of having that wheel and tire setup. It still handled great, it was just leaving a lot on the table.

Ideally you'd want to run -2 degrees of camber up front with a 17x9 245/40 setup. So you're looking at aftermarket suspension bits if you want to "do it once, do it right."

For reference - On gen.2, I ran these wheels with coilovers and 13mm spacer up front / no spacer in the back. -4.5 deg camber front / -2.2 deg camber in the back.
