Did Rich tell you guys about the limited colors on initial release? (not 100% - but he said will prob. only be like 4 colors?) Makes me sad - I really wanted the Metallic Gray I'm thinking that I can't get the benefits of the group buy if I wait for the color to be released...Black is such a pain in the ass to take care of...

Hey ya'll,

As of today (2/25), which SoCal dealership is this group buy going to pursue? I'm seriously considering being part of this and would like to know. Also, should I wait for you guys, or should I go put a deposit at said dealership?

Please advise

Thx!

We are going with Irvine Subaru atm. The one by Lake Forest Dr.

You can talk to Desiree/Randy/Rich if they are there to take your deposit.

I remember him saying something like it would be black, white, WR blue, w.e red it is. Something along those lines - and I remember reading it somewhere randomly?

I placed my deposit over the phone, gave him my debit card number and he put me on the list

Does he ask anything else (i.e. in order to run a credit check or something)?

tomorrow is the official date to preorder subaru brz. I wonder how many dealerships are opened for preorder..

Also, got a question. my friend bought a imprezza wrx limited for 32k after TTL from subaru PH. I think it's way too expensive. no?

He asked me which color I wanted, which trim, and which transmission. Said he'll give me a call next week (this coming week) to ask which accessories I want, if he gets info on accessories.

Considering the BRZ Limited is expected to be around 27-29k before TTL, I'd say that sounds about right for a WRX Limited, since the BRZ is supposed to be cheaper than the WRX.

NICE!!

27-29k is a bit steep though...May have to consider the Premium trim now, unless Limited peaks at 27k, which is acceptable to me.

According to Rich when I called him today I was the last one to go on the list for him and there was a total of 18 for the group (apparently a few people cancelled?). He also mentioned they are expecting about 32 cars in total for their location, so everyone that deposited should be set though he doesn't have an exact timeline yet for when people would get their car. He also reconfirmed that the actual preorders will be starting here within the next 2 days (as we knew) and that he would be calling later on to confirm accessories, etc.
