Got the front windows re-tinted at 35% with Rayno's thermal blocking product.

I'm seriously debating tossing on the 70% Rayno tint on the front [windshield] as well to block some of the heat.

How many "front" windows do you have? -

Legal? No. But common place to have front driver and passenger windows tinted.

lol I should have clarified, the front windshield is what I'm contemplated tinting with the 70% for the thermal rejection ~

Haha yeah I just meant the front windshield. I've never lived anywhere you can tint the windshield aside from the little strip on top

Yeah, I don't think there is anywhere that it's legal to do. But with 70% light going through, its not initially obvious that there is a tint installed.
Honestly, I don't think you'd notice it unless you were aware of it being there in the first place.

The shop employee/owner tinted the front windshield of his civic and I didn't realize until I looked veeeeeery closely.

There is clear UV blocking tint FYI. I hear it still has a tiny bit of color to it though

Plugged up the sound tube and drove one of my favorite local canyons with a friend in his s2000. Also had some fun chasing a track prepped mr2. Reminded me why I love this car. Every time I drive the FRS in the canyons or track, it feels in its element.

Also plugging the sound tube makes the engine feel smoother and removes the coarseness from the sound. I go back and forth on it, but I think it’s going to stay plugged.

Got my car back from the shop yesterday, and got some OEM wheels for use with drifting. They're gonna need valve stems and TPMS sensors though. This something I can do myself, or am I gonna need a tire shop for this one?

depends on how complete you want them to be.

i put rubber valve stems in and some magical electrical tape blanked off the angrily-flashing idiot light.

but if you need a mount/balance, they need to be installed at the time of mounting, and then need to be programmed to the car...

For me, since these are a drift set, all I really, really need is some actual valve stems that mount to the car, so I don't give two shits about programming anything, but I'm not even sure if there are aftermarket valve stems I can slap on.

I was planning on picking these up; I heard that these are the same as the OEM TPMS sensor and even if they aren't, they'll still serve their purpose of holding air in hopefully.

these are what are installed in my oem '14 wheels. they work just fine, and at $2 each, i don't cry replacing them every few years.

MTEC Springs baybeee

I also ordered that awful TRD Quickshifter because I found it on eBay for super cheap. They just came out with orange thread locker, which supposedly is said to be stronger than blue locktite but it doesn't require heat to remove like the red stuff. We'll see what happens!
