ECU
Hi guys!
I want your opinion about having New mods on my gt86. I already have my borla headers placed an my exhaust (invidia) 2.5' inches. I was thinking about having an ECU, but i'm searching about it and I don't see any information about that. Someone know where can I search for studying about that? Thanks in advance |

Just to clarify, are you asking about ECU tuning?

For ECU tuning, a simple and cheap one would be the Open Flash Tablet. Check it out!
Or ECUtek if you don't mind spending a little more.

A good place to start is below. I think it give a pretty good overview of the basics, if it is a bit old.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29340 Another good read, and more recent, is this. It includes a lot more information not necessarily focused on tuning, but worth the time to read it. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81493 I personally have an OFT and am happy with it, but there are many reputable ecutek tuners. On an even lower budget you can do everything yourself as well. I recommend posting tuning questions in the "Software Tuning" sub forum since that's likely to get the right people's attention. |
