I WISH! Blitzball = ownage.
Yeah FFIII was awesome! I think 1~4 were really good.

I wasn't too good at Blitzball.

I thought it was supposed to be NDA? LOL I've been there since Phase 1. I'm not sure if NDA is lifted.

The nda is partially lifted I last thought, just no video or audio.

I apparently got a beta invite weeks ago but it went to my junk mail and sat unnoticed until Tuesday. So I'm in now. After a couple days of playing I went and preordered. 25% off at GreenManGaming with the coupon code right now. I remember the beta when it originally came out.. what a horrible mess it was. This is a completely different game. And no more standing in Jeuno for hours yelling WHM LFG!

Anyway, I've talked to a few people about this, and it seems I'm the only person I know who like... reeeally liked FFX.
Blitzball was great, but I liked the rest of the game too. It was good.
My favorite FF are

- Tactics
- FF7
- FF4
- FFX

In that order. Love all the games . Never got into any after 10 though, but all of the older ones are so much fun. I still want to play FF6 for SNES (US) - not sure if that's the FF3 you were referring to (I get confused with the US/JAPAN names) but the little bit I played of that one was awesome (had a girl main character, and you started off as some soldiers in Mechs). I also played the original (I believe) FF3 which was redone for the NDS and that was a blast (had 4 main characters, where you could choose whatever jobs you wanted them to be... wish more FF games did that).

Tactics is one of my favorite games of all time. I love that game so much . I'm thinking about buying one of those gameboy micros off ebay mostly so I can try to get into the FFT advanced (I never gave it a fair chance, didn't really care for it my first 2 tries). Loved the PSP remake though that one owned.

Yea same. I hated that thing... But I've heard so much good things about the games I want to give it a fair chance and try to grind through it.

I lost my old tactics saves But its ok I like making new ones . Freaking calculators got way OP in my original save anyways lol. So much fun though.

I'm definitely a fan, more so of the classics on PlayStation one though. FF8 is by far my favorite not exactly sure why but it is, I've Played until the end two or three times.. currently working at finally beating it lol. Lots of hours consumed there. Even though I stopped at I think the 12th one I'm considering picking up 14 the MMO I've always wanted to give that style a try. I know I'll be getting versus it looks like fun.. been following it since the initial trailer in Japanese.

My list of FF's that are faves:

5, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, 8, 9, 11, 10, 12, 13, 7

2d > 3d FF's -- cannot stand the lack of story telling in the new games. The game isn't even Final Fantasy anymore, the series has lost it's roots.

ahh well -- Old originals were more fun than remakes, remakes added and made the games way too easy.

3d ruined everything for me, though 8 still rocked my socks!

Why am I writing at this hour? Because I'm on call and stuck with a customer issue.

The judge system made tactics advance SO good. It forced you to be more strategic in each battle, and really pushed the strategy portion of the game to a much better level. You get caught off-guard? You had a hell of a fight. I loved it. It required so much more thought and planning.

The whole tactics universe is my favorite part of FF right now. Vagrant Story, FF tactics, FFTA, FFTA2, FF 12, and FF 12 DS game. Such a cool world. I really hope they give XII the HD treatment like they did with X/X-2. I'd love to sink another 100+ hours into that game, this time on my Vita.
