Don't worry. They'll be back. They hibernate because of winter blend.

I've had my car for only a couple of months now. At first my wife complained about how loud and stiff it was. Then after header, exhaust, and springs she hated it.

Then one day I handed her the keys and told her to drive it, told her to rev it out a bit between shifts and have fun in the corners.

A huge grin and not a complaint since.

I might be completely wrong but IIRC the crickets are due to the high pressure fuel pump. During winter or fall w.e gas companies switch to a winter blend that uses more butane so it is easier to start the car at lower temperatures. That's why gas during winter is normally cheaper than summer. It's because butane is plentiful and cheap. The crickets slowly disappear with this blend.

If I'm wrong someone let me know haha

You mentioned they hibernate during the winter. It's not winter... and he said his crickets are gone.

I don't doubt the different blends in winter though. Or being more quite in the winter. But it ain't winter.

haha yeah it may not be winter but they do use butane.

Also companies switch to winter blend during fall to prepare. It also depends on region
