Potential buyer. Used 2018 TS out the door price?
Looking to get a 2018 brz ts with 10k miles on it. What would be a out the door price range for this car? I don’t want to over pay and it’s also my first car so I’m unsure of the process.

What area? What's the KBB value look like? Whats the condition of the car? Whatss the price of the car listed?
Is it WRB/CBS/White? Is it stock? Has it been in a wreck? Carfax clean? If you do buy it, you can join my super secret tS facebook group. |

Use kbb.com or edmunds.com to see typical used car values. You are buying from a dealership sp expect to pay more than if you were buying from an individual. Also ask if you are getting any warranty, some is better than none. Also ask if there is a return period like caravana has. You can also search on autotrader.com to see what other dealers are asking for similar cars. Good hunting.

kbb shows fair market price range. i guess its not overpaying with taxes and those damn dealer fees included but still unsure. anyone know a good apr for a 60 or 72 month on a car purchase? is around 3 good? any place to get a better apr? |

You should be able to look up taxes in your state. In Texas, it is 6.25%. Google vehicle sales tax for your state. You can ask about other dealer fees, and if they can't explain it, ask them to take it off, if you are prepared to walk away. In Texas, you can't avoid title and license fees, but they are peanuts. Look out for "advertising group fee" or "reconditioning fee" or something similar. I would tell them to take it off.
You also need to decide if you want to buy a warranty or not. You can shop for a warranty online and know what they cost IF you want it. My experience is that the extended warranties are not worth it. Others will see it otherwise. 3% apr is great for a used car. Credit unions are usually a good place to look for car loans, but I would take 3% and run with it. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk |

25-26k seems to be the asking price average around me with 28k being right around where they top off at used based off the 9 cars I could find.
The 2020 ts come is new at 31k... 32.5k if you option on all the ground effects (minus the spoiler.)
