Who are the best 2-3 Calgary shops for FRS/BRZ suspension, exhaust, mods etc.

Looking for RCE Yellows + Install for starters.

I always used c1 for VW but not sure with Toyota/Subaru stuff.

Kinda tough to say. Most shops in town will rape you on pricing.

If anything, give Rhys a shout. He can get you almost anything you need at comparable prices to the internet. He doesn't operate out of a shop, but runs his business along side while working his full time day job I believe.

Rhys@revwerks.com

For installs, I've heard very good things about Zero Limit Automotive. Jackies a friend of mine, has a pretty sweet NSX that's getting blown as wel

I'm a big fan of VEX Performance. You can also use Tunerworks if your pockets are lined with gold - they tend to look after the upper end of the market.

I hear lots of good reviews about Zero Limits for decently priced alignments.

Shouldn't always be about the price though, to be honest. I've been to a number of "recommended" tuner friendly shops for alignments, and they've all done sub par jobs IMO. I'd rather pay an extra premium to have it done right the first time around, instead of having to come back an extra hour here and there to have the car drive straight.

I think I'll be bringing my car to Zero Limit though once my coilovers settle in.

Yes, of course. I had the word "quality" in my post as well, but seemed to have edited it out.

Had my wheels, tires, and suspension ordered and installed from Tunerworks. I actually got my KW V3's for cheaper than you can find anywhere on the internet, because they had a bulk shipment and I saved due to that. With regards to installation costs, I don't have anywhere to compare to but it was cheaper than what another shop quoted an acquaintance for the same work.

Tunerworks have a workshop in Vietnam? They must be doing well.

Staying N/A? What are your goals/budget/noise tolerance?

Do you want a wildly useless "I think X brand is good" response or would you like some refinement? I haven't considered either of those pipes.

I'm going SC and I plan for a Tomei Type 80, along with headers, overpipe, front pipe, etc. I want to eke as much power as I can by freeing up the exhaust. I also like obnoxious noise when I get on it. Money is only a moderately limiting factor. My decision may change as products are refined or introduced to the market. My tuner also plays a big part in my decisions.

I just picked the car up the other night and to be honest ive never bought a new car with an intact warranty before. That being said whatever i do to modify the car needs to keep my warranty intact. I've owned quite a few different play cars before the scion and i know a catback exhaust doesn't do much for power so really i want it for the sound.

End goal with the car for now wheels/tires, coils & exhaust. most of this work will take place next winter in my garage in preparation (fingers crossed) for the bad lands motor sports track. I'm not going to make any aspiration changes until the warranty is up (If i keep the car that long)

Modifying won't ruin your intact warranty. It can however deny you coverage if said aftermarket part caused it.

If they deny you warranty and the part didn't cause it, it's still valid just need proof.

Someone here said that on a post

I love that new car feeling. Congratulations.

Your goals are different to mine so I can't really offer you any advice other than "start reading". There are pages and pages of opinions on his website. Also recommend finding someone at a/the dealership who can give you an honest opinion of what bolt ons will or will not void your warranty. I have never cared for warranty either so, again, I'm no help to you.
