I too am 6'2 with a 34"inseam and the MX-5 was very cramped for me. My FRS is very comfortable and much less confining. If more leg room was provided the choice between those cars would have been much harder for me.

I’m so glad Toyota and Subaru designed the twins to have more legroom. I even use the mini backseats to hold things like a backpack or shopping bag. You can’t do that in the MX-5 either.
There is one car I would be ok with being a little uncomfortable in, an S2000. I came really close to buying one several years ago, but got a WRX for more space.
