SPCorBUST's Built Motor Boosted BRZ | STI | Cusco | JR | E85

Function > Form

Well I've been following the BRZ since the concept. It was a long wait but I finally pulled the trigger back in May 2013, and picked up my 2013 Satin White Pearl Manual Limited BRZ in June from Clint at Heuberger Subaru.

I started my "build" in June of 2013. I'm going for an "ego" street and track build using Cusco, STi, and Perrin as the main brands in my build, going for a classy, but low key exterior, and nearly every piece from the nuts, bolts, and bushings, to the brakes, coilovers, and interior upgraded. I want the car to feel communicative and balanced, but razor-sharp and frenetic when I want and need it to be.

I don't expect the engine bay to win any awards, as its not my primary focus and I don't want it to look too crazy/clean under there on purpose. I want it to look stock-ish (save for a few flourishes) for when I get my hood popped again, so I'm going (a little) out of my way to make it appear as such by being careful about what draws attention under the hood. On to the good stuff!

I drove the SRT-4 before the BRZ which was a FWD beast, having full bolt ons, a big wheel stocker, e85 and a fuel system to support it, a built suspension and just clean all-around. It still sits in the garage and is driven as my second car. Her name is Sloan, and here's a pic:

Family resemblance?

I do, I try to head out there on my way home from work, typically around 9.

I agree. Typically I drive the SRT-4 hard in the canyons, so the turbo can make enough power yet still be really responsive.

Stumbled upon this. Mind sharing dyno sheets and your overall feel of the SC? Reliability?
Latest pics of the car?

Thanks!

After these videos were made and having owned the kit for a while now, I do have reservations about the overall design and quality of different components. Don't have time for an essay though.

I'm interested to see how it goes for you. I was seriously considering your c38, though carb is a concern. So i'm definitely looking forward to a comparison opinion.
