i think it's a mistake to take any vehicle of value to college. it should be able to be flipped and burned, and the most irritating part to you should be the fact that you need to walk 3 blocks to the store.

OP, if you're not rich, don't get either of those cars. The upkeep is insane on both of them. Show your mom you love her by getting a Honda Civic instead. Let her retire younger.

I think usage holds them pretty close to each other. I wouldn't call a community college a university, but I would call a university a college. I didn't go off to university, I went off to college, even though I went off to a university. The women there weren't university girls, they were college girls. I had fun in college, not university.

But those are all usage differences, not meaning differences.

Well, OK, THAT triggered a back-in-the-day memory. I remember well the sound of my neighbor's new 1955 T-Bird. Yep, I've tried to duplicate that exhaust note on every car I've owned since then (never did make it) -

i finished school and started my first job with a car that leaked power steering fluid, transmission fluid, and oil. it had terminal rust in the rear axle, the a/c and heat didn't work. and if i tried to fix the leaky fluids, it would break the parts i replaced within a week and continue leaking as if nothing had ever happened.

given that background, the brz is the most luxury i've ever had. everything works, nothing leaks!
