Anyone running a similar setup to what I have planned? Mine's hopefully getting installed and tuned next month; just waiting on a couple more small parts like MAP sensor, ECUtek cable and license, and Samco radiator hoses:

Vortech V3 tuner kit
DW65c fuel pump
Snow water/methanol injection
93 octane fuel
3.125" pulley
Perrin 2.5" exhaust with high-flow cat
AEM wideband O2
P3Cars digital vent gauge
Omni 3 BAR MAP sensor
ECUtek software, tuning by ECS Performance
Perrin oil cooler
Perrin lightweight pulleys
Koyo radiator
Raceseng cam blockoff plate

Hoping I'll be right around the 300whp mark; thoughts? Next phase after this will involve an HKS or Tomei EL header, lightweight flywheel and heavy duty clutch, and carbon fiber driveshaft.

This should be doable on your setup depending on how much meth you are using up top. Check out the exedy stage 1 clutch, it also comes with a flywheel and feels close to stock. I ran 360WHP on the stock clutch and it only slipped when doing heavier pulls in 5th from time to time, it held up a lot better than expected.

Hello Vortech supercharger owners,

I was wondering if you could talk a bit about the sound your supercharger makes. Is it pretty audible (e.g. would a passenger notice it)? Does it make a 'whistle' or 'whine' sound at all?

Thanks for your feedback. :-)

My vortech didn't make a wine our whistle sound. The sound is deeper sounding like an NA application. The wine is typically found in twin screw applications not centrifugal superchargers.

had the car for a few weeks now, runs great up here in colorado. 5300ft+ and the lowest reading dyno in colorado. e85 and 7psi, not looking to make more boost until the engines built. great daily tho, colorado has an infestation of WRX's and STI's so it's nice to slap them around. so far traction hasn't been a huge downfall since i have 255's all around, but 1st and pretty much 2nd still spins like crazy. maybe... i should turn the traction on..

Car is looking good. Pretty good numbers for that altitude.
