That happened to me after the recall and having the TOB replaced at the same time. Besides destroying my engine the dealer didnt tighten the fork properly and the clutch pedal stayed on the floor and it stranded me in the middle of the freeway.

Just got the bill back and wanted to update you. My 2015 BRZ (w 53k miles) was a few months out of the 5/60k powertrain and subaru of america basically said fuck you. They paid for the throw out bearing but I was on the hook for $1200 in labor and $700 for a ACT clutch kit and new fork/pivot.

This is why you don't go to the dealer for repairs

eh not as much as you might think. my normal shop wanted $900 but I was banking on SoA covering something. Labor is expensive everywhere rn
