K&N looks like a tighter fit - which specific model was it? Thanks

We're looking forward to getting some goodies and tweaks in your transmissions. Should be a great opportunity for both of us! Thanks!

I am looking forward to it too - we'll keep in touch to see what's available by May 2017 when the new track season starts for me. Thank you

Couple of new additions from @CounterSpace Garage: They served me well but time has come to retire Harry's Laptimer and VBOX Sport. I ordered AIM Solo DL to capture more data during track sessions, also APR Performance brake rotor cooling kit.

Also, @DeliciousTuning was kind to send me the latest and greatest v21.0 of the Flash & Go (FNG) tune, with more testing and logging coming up this weekend.

Pictures from NJMP Thunderbolt last Fri-Sun, including EFI Logics crew and my first time to get over 1G in every possible corner. Got bumped to HPDE4 (advanced) and had a great time with great people. One bolt from the ACE header decided to take a walk but that was fixed quickly by EFI. New engine ran flawlessly.

I use this one right here:

Did you get a dyno reading in your new engine setup?

A) He rents a garage.
B) It isn't the high desert so there isn't dust blowing everywhere like at Willow.
C) He blows off half the sessions to go take a nap.
D) When parts get dirty, he just replaces them.
E) All of the above

(the answer is E)

Awesome thanks @DaiTT500, ordered one. Seems like looser (more surface) should be less restrictive and still provide enough protection against direct splashes.

Will post dyno charts as soon as we get some runs, likely in a few weeks.

AIM Solo DL is fully set up. Slightly updated procedure from @CSG Mike and his AIM Solo DL thread, including the last step that makes custom ECU channels (i.e., OILT) available in custom pages:

- Install RaceStudio2 software (RaceStudio3 is not compatible with Solo DL)
- Plug in your AIM Solo DL to your computer, and turn it on
- Open RaceStudio2
- Click Device Configuration
- Set ECU Manufacturer to Toyota
- Set ECU Model to GT86/Scion_FRS
- Set sampling frequency to maximum for all channels
- Change measurement units to the unit of your choice (only C for temps, no F)
- Click Transmit to upload settings to AIM Solo DL. After this step all available GT86/Scion_FRS channels like oil temp (OILT) will be available on AIM Solo DL when you select them in Menu / Display Setup / Page Setup / Custom Page Setup / (select page to configure, i.e., Custom 1) / Configure / (select field you want to modify) / DOWN / SEL

Channels that look interesting to monitor on track:
OILT (engine oil temp)
ECT (coolant temp)
IAT (intake air temp)
+/- (time delta from previous best lap)
PredT (predictive lap time)

The AIM Solo DL and RaceRender3 rock! Easy to figure out RaceRender with 3 cams and AIM data without instructions. Created my favorite template to use going forward. Now just need more track events...next season

Will upload video from the last track weekend of the season at NJMP with NASA North East later. Need external mic, it's a little noisy with the built-in mic.
