well, Thank you all for replying so quick! Knowing that even if it's a really annoying sound, just knowing it isn't really a BIG deal, makes me feel better.

I got cricket on mines already and I'm around 6.5k miles, using Costco 91.

Read that there was suppose to be another Fuel pump or whatever in the new 86, so just waiting for that to hit the market, so I can go in and have them change it to that and see if it would fix it.

But if it does annoy you, you can go E85 lol, louder exhaust system, or turn up the radio lol.

I noticed the chirping at around 3-5k miles. Now at 20k, it still does it every time im in a spot or red light. Thats just how to engine is, deal with it, no 'real' solution after all this years..

Just turn up the music and call it a day.

It isn't the high percentage ethanol it is the 10% stuff that seems to do it. I am100% cricket free until I pump some 10% stuff in. There is also a temperature element involved since I can go all winter with whatever fuel I want and no chirps at all but as soon as it warms up and I use 10% my buddies show up for a visit. They are strictly fair weather friends that only come by when alcohol is involved. Much like some cottage visitors.

I'm thinking of having a buddy make me a couple of these as vinyl stickers and stickin em on the wing windows by the mirrors, so lay people may understand the song of our people LOL....

OR ......... call up Aberdeen Proving Grounds, find out when they are going to have their next live fire demonstration.

Use no ear protection, sit up close ..... after this puppy goes off a few times ....... you will never hear your car's crickets again .......
