Hello to everyone in this huge community,
We are 9 months into ownership of our crystal white 2017 BRZ Performance Pack, 2nd hand, 30,000km. The twins have been under my skin since their release and we are just tickled pink with this car. Glad we waited. Replaced the Michellins for some stickier Yokohamas, and that is exactly where the mods will end! lol Well aware of the slippery slope once mods start. It's such a tactile, frisky, loveable little thing to drive. What a breath of fresh air. |

Interesting. I've never seen a tow hook label pointing at the ground. I've only ever seen them pointed at tow hooks. |

If you consider that an accurate percentage to carry over then you are looking at about 325 2017 Lavas spread across the US. Since it is the last year of that colour then that 325 represents all of them built after the update and badge change. All in all pretty rare!

Hi, new member here. I own an 86 gts, 2 yrs old now.
I live in Sydney, Australia. Today I accidentally filled the car with roughly 5 litres of 94 ethanol e10. I quickly realised and stopped, and filled up the car with 98 octane. My question is... do I need to get the petrol drained from the car? The car was empty when I first started filling up. I am concerned with the injectors |

Hey everyone, just picked up a previously salvaged title 2014 FRS to turn into my weekend warrior track car! Been working over at FT86-Speedfactory for about 6 years now so this thing should be set up pretty decent once I tear into it.

Hello Everyone,
I just bought a used/crashed 2017 toyota 86 with 54,000 miles. I will be receiving within the next week. Exterior wise, its missing the passenger door, rear bumper, the passenger airbag "cover" I'm not sure what you call it but it looks like the air bag is missing as well. I'll know when I get it. I've manage so far to find the rear bumper and passenger door but whats the name of the cover for the passenger airbag. I can't seem to find it online or the name. Does anyone know what its called? |

Welcome!
What cover are you referencing? If you're talking about the dash in front of the passenger, it's the radio/dash bezel trim The pillar connected to the windshield is called the a-pillar and houses a curtain airbag. The photo I'm attaching is the one piece radio/dash bezel. |

Hi Everyone!
I've been an owner for just over 2 years, but just recently moved to the bay area. These roads are so amazing compared to the midwest! Looking forwards to making the most of the Californian roads and tracks with you guys. |

Hey, just joined. I needed to purchase a commuter for work, and picked up this red 2013 FRS. I have to say these are fun little cars, and I’m looking forward to modding it. Nice to meet you all!

Well, you have certainly come to the right place to help fix those annoyances if you wanted to. I recommend taking a look at the cosmetic and interior subsections of the technical forum if you haven't found them yet.

Greetings gentleman,
I see this is a long thread; the first post is from 2009. Well, I just bought a 2013 Scion FR-S. I wanted something fun to drive with a manual transmission, and this fit the bill perfectly. It wasn't a car I went looking for, but the right listing came up and I cashed in. This is my first car: It has just under 73,000 miles on it, and is by no means new anymore. But it's in good shape having never been winter driven (a big deal for us Canadians). The car is basically stock, but it has a different roof antenna. The clutch was replaced at around 65,000 miles by the previous owner, and it has brand new brakes front and rear. Great little car! Last edited by Matt Mitchell; 10-08-2020 at 10:48 PM. |

Hi 86/BRZ/FRS community! Owner for 15 days now and appreciate the helpful posts, ie, how to activate my alarm as just one example. For laughs, you can see my 6 year old nephews review of my car (he was upset I didn't by a lambo aventador) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFYfE-6n...d=i6ivofjwon9j. I think he just recommended $4-6K in mods. (I hope posting an outside link was okay, I couldn't find the community rules.) Cheers, Sheryl
