It's been a few months and I miss the sound of mine already. It is perfectly civilized with the seats up, with just the right amount of volume and some occasional burbles with the seats down.

With a catted header or uncatted?

Seats down an uncatted header is a bit brutal.

When I go for a spirited drive, the burbles are pretty much constant, especially off throttle and down shifting. I think it's got to do with the temperature of headers and how violently the unburnt fuel is exploding. Just my guess

I was looking for a valved exhaust, but folding the backseat up and down might just be the poor man's active exhaust system . Take that, Porsche.

Wouldn't be surprised, the stock tune runs quite rich. I actually have less soot on my tailpipes since getting tuned.

That was with the stock header. My original plan was to add a catted header like JDL or ft86sf.

Then a friend offered me his barely used gruppe-s for a few hundred bucks. Took a hit to sound quality with the stock catback but the powerband with a dialed tune is great.

Just got my revised tune back from Delicious (A and B logs). The car is so fkn smooth now.

Anyone notice their aftermarket exhaust is slightly quieter after a tune? I’m not complaining, it’s perfect.

Which spoiler is that? Did you have it sprayed or order it in the colour match.

It's a TRD style/replica. Unsure of company, as I had purchased it form a fellow in Atlanta last year and didn't ask. He wanted to wrap it, but was having trouble getting the wrap to stay on unpainted plastic. I got a local shop to spray it DAR/Neptune a couple weeks ago. When I dropped the spoiler off, they came out with some sort of fancy paint-reading gun to make sure the color they mixed would be exact, and boy did they ever deliver a great result!

Well now, since my not too often driven 2013 FR-S seems to have a weak battery I decided to give it zap with the charger. Now, I did this about a month ago and it seemed to help. At that time I checked the level of electrolyte in the cells and it appeared that the cells "were covered" with fluid. I thought that was OK.

So, this time, when checking the cells, even though the tops of the cells were covered, I decided to add a bit of distilled water.

DANG! Each cell took about a half a cup of water!
