My FRS 2013 Automatic Is Making Sounds When I Brake

as you can see in the YouTube video I am pressing on the brake without the hand brake pulled up. when I lift my foot off the brake it makes the first sound. When I release it quickly it makes the second sound. Can anyone help with this and tell me the problem?

Hi ya, Ali3583 and welcome to our forum -

That is one weird sound, even coming from an FR-S.

I can't tell from your video, is your car moving when you make it make those sounds?

Where does it appear that the sound coming from?

Might I suggest a simple solution (which is usually wrong - ), that would be to check the brake fluid level.

Consider bleeding the brake fluid system?

Have someone else sit in the car and hit the brake while you look listen under the hood for where it is coming from. My guess is brake booster, or ABS pump making the noise. Does it stop normal when you hit the brake? Need a bit more info.

I know if the car sits the ebrake can get stuck. Especially if it’s been raining. I would check all the brakes and fluid.
