Alcantara question
So Im going to start upholstering the interior of my car, but Im not sure what thickness of alcantara to use. I went to the jpm coachworks website for reference, but they dont list the thickness of their alcantara.
.6mm swatches seem really good for stretching and working with, but I dont know how durable it will be. Thickness is also a concern when working with a sewing machine, so any pointers or suggestions would be appreciated. |

You be good with that Alcantara thickness. From my experience is easier then the suede I was working with because it is thicker. & the sewing machine's needle still went through. GL and try on smaller or cheaper material before the good stuff.

& for sowing I felt no difference. Just make sure you get a good needle.
