replace front crash bolts to add camber?
Has anyone actually replaced their front crash bolts with the subaru part in order to dial in more front camber?
I just ordered 2 sets of bolts and should have them by the weekend. I'll be test fitting them and brake pads beginning of next week. Just curious if anyone has actually done this to see what the adjustment is. FYI - the part # is 901000394 Matt

Yep, put mine in yesterday. There is a negligible increase in -camber. I wasn't able to get it on the alignment rack to measure it, but based on the #s posted by jdrxb9 and the slight amount of visible movement with them, I think they're only gaining .2-.3 degrees. I'll be putting adjustable plates on mine soon enough, and the bolts will be usefull in finely adjusting the camber to get zero cross numbers. Lots more info here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7918

I think that you have the wrong bolts given all the camber RCE is seeing.

Read man, read
RCE is using lowering springs and Whiteline Com-C strut mounts. BTW the part # listed by the OP is for the regular bolt (bottom of strut) not the concentric (adjusting) one.

Speaking of reading, did you check out post #4?
There is no "concentric" adjusting bolt for this car, just an undersized one. And you would want to say cammed or non-concentric, right? Using the stock WRX upper front camber bolt isn't going to work because the clevis of the strut isn't cut properly for it. |

Can someone provide a hookup for eccentric bolts that fit, for those who could care less about the SCCA?
