Most effective ways to make a "fast" NA car

My plans for this car are pretty straightforward and to the point.

(not including installation costs)

Open Flash Tablet e85 tune 499$

Open Flash Header $645 or $535 if purchased with Open Flash Tablet

Mfactory 4.67 Final Drive Gear or Cusco 4.556 Final Drive Gear $750-$1100

I have a feeling this combo might make this car as quick, if not slightly quicker than an s2000. Just a guess tho.

I was curious if anyone else had plans similar to these or perhaps another combination to make a quick NA frs/brz/86

Axel exchange aluminum drive shaft and shorai lfx36 battery.

Good for nearly 40lbs off.... That plus your mods should be decent.

With e85 should make it faster than a S2000....Tires would be needed to keep up on the track

I don't know your driving experience but driver education helps most cars go faster.

Biggest improvement by far for me was when I installed headers.

We used the 4.56 Final Drive from Weir Performance. Got that plus his solid pinion spacer and shims included for just over $300 shipped. Have about 1000 miles on it so far with no issues. One of the best buys so far.

He doesn't have it listed on his site but you can call him up and tell him what you need and he'll get you set up.

I run OFT, Nameless over/front pipe combo, Tomei 60S, Raceseng S2 pulley kit, PST CF DS, Shorai battery
On the way- Nameless header, Toyota 4.556 final drive, and OS Giken LSD
Wish i can run e85 but not practical at the track cuz I would need to bring 50 gallons of e85 on each track day

Do you already bring 38 gallons to each track day?

That's pretty much what I've done. Full exhaust and tune. I also am messing with the rotating parts. Lightweight wheels/tires, pulleys, flywheel, brakes, driveshaft and 4.56 rear end. Dropped about ~70 pounds of rotating mass and you really can feel it. Car just rips...it's so responsive.

I've done some other lightening mods (battery, rear seats, trunk stuff) but don't plan to go extreme. The car is sleeping for the winter currently but I plan to do a few HPDEs this year and it should be a blast. I think it'll keep up with mild s2ks and such. If it doesn't the problem is me!
