Generally speaking it's still very difficult to get a car at MSRP here. At least in the Seattle area.

Out of the dozens I've tried to buy, I've seen only one or two at MSRP. Still nothing on the lot. Everything is pre-sold at $2-5k markup. Sometimes even $10k, although I can't imagine they're actually selling at that. I got lucky.

I was referring to getting the car in a month, not so much the MSRP part.

I'm about to move my deposit to a different dealership because they have my top color choice. If anyone near WA wants a lead on a pavement GR86 Premium MT at MSRP + options (GR exhaust, fender inserts, shift knob), shoot me a note and I'd be happy to connect you.

It's a great dealer with minimal BS. Car should arrive within a month.

It seems the tides have officially turned in my neck of the woods. My local dealer has a Halo premium manual sitting on the lot. MSRP is $36k with Toyota add-ons, advertised discounted to $35k.

These are the same guys that took my deposit for a car at MSRP in 2021 and admitted by June of 22 that they would "have to" charge me $8k markup if they ever got my spec

Time for a refresh of this thread. I just put down a deposit for a 2024 GR86 Premium MT in Steel. If you are into this sort of thing, it has the option for a 10" powered sub-woofer, which I went for.

For those of you on the prowl for a MY24, Doxon Toyota in Auburn, WA has two Premium MT's waiting to get on the boat that are unspoken for as of today. They are both in Pavement. The point of contact is Ken Thompson. He seems to know what's up. FYI, I also bought my 2022 there and had a good experience. No markup/market adjustment. Be sure to tell him Dave sent ya!

I find it incredible that dealerships in the US have allocation and even have VINs for incoming 2024 GR86 vehicles but STILL do not have any pricing info! I have a preference for the GR86, but at this rate the BRZ I ordered (no deposit necessary!) will arrive before I can even find out what the GR86 will cost...

Why are you buying a 2024 GR86 when you have a 2022 GR86? I’m confused here.

OH, I found out today the two '24 Pavement Premiums headed to my dealer are an a boat scheduled to arrive in port on Feb 22nd. The Steel Premium I ordered is still in the QC line.

I jumped ship from my Steel car and went to the remaining Pavement model.

So, Doxon Toyota had a Steel Premium MT as of this morning.
