This is my first post, but I was so excited to find an unclaimed Trueno Blue premium with a MT as MSRP. Put the deposit down today with an ETA of 2nd week Feb.

They were offering to "place an order" for MSRP with a $500 deposit, but the sales person I talked to wouldn't answer any questions and just wanted me to come in for a deposit. Ended up working with Toyota in Bellingham.

For some reason the Toyota's around Portland/surrounding area decided they all wanted Trueno Blue for 99% of the allocations for Premium 6MT.

I have one on deposit since it was unclaimed too. Maybe the color will grow on me in person but the pictures of the color seem to vary a lot. Some pictures make me go "wow" while others make me confused whether it's purple.

In case anyone missed it in the BRZ forum, Subaru quit doing sold orders for BRZ. I believe Subaru and Toyota have much different ordering systems so might not really have an impact on anyone looking for a particular GR86. It makes me antsy though since I have genuinely no way of knowing whether the car I put a deposit down on will come in 3 months or 12.

It's for those 3 specific regions only that I know of. Toyota hasn't said anything else as well

I'm assuming that includes Washington since that's what 4 dealers told me this week. Was looking to order the BRZ till I found out.

Those 3 regions cover 41 states.

The other states which are comprised of New England States and Hawaii are overseen by a separate distributor in addition to Subaru of America but someone on the FB page said their dealer (in New Jersey) said they couldn't order any new ones.

Interesting. Looking at the Toyota JSON, it's still shows as available.

I know for a fact that some of the dealers are not setting the cars to “DealerHold” status. (I don’t think it means that your car isn’t reserved) When mine got updated to “DealerHold” it didn’t appear on the dealer website anymore. There’s a dealer in Lincoln, Ne that has their Halo white one up that is spoken for. My dealer in Omaha told me that the Lincoln dealership does that out of dishonesty. I personally think that they keep the cars up on the website to get traffic but I feel like it gives people false hope…
