Swap: factory 16s for factory 17s Sydney

If anyone in Sydney is interested in doing a straight swap get in touch.

As much as prefer the 16s. I will more than likely need the 17s for better tyre choice in semi slicks.

So I'll end up running a nice set of 18s for street use and run the factory 17s as a track wheel.

So what do you have, and what do you want? because it isn't really clear from your post.

If you have 16's and want 17's I think you'll be pushing it up hill.

16s for 17s. A fair few people prefer the 16s as they look much nicer. I'm only interested in a track rim and the 17s provide better options. If there are no takers I will just run semis in a 16.

No thanks. If wanted to do that would just buy some "real" 17s, which would be way better than factory 17s. One thing is a could get them in 8in wide instead of the factory 7in (or are they 7.5???) at any rate I could for money get the right size width and offset.

Anyway if anyone (in Sydney) is looking for a set 16s then give a shout.

Hmm, the factory 17's are quite light for a factory wheel, around 9kg. You'd probably be better off buying a set of aftermarket 17, as I said you are unlikely to find anyone wanting to swap 17 for 16.

And the 16s are even lighter.

Just trying to help you out. Most people with a GTS aren't trying to make it look like a GT.

You can argue for 16 all you like. All you are going to get is is idiotic offers like the one above.

Guys, it seems pretty straight forward... If you don’t have/want to swap your factory 17’s for MZ21’s factory 16’s, then don’t post.... make sense?

MZ21 – will PM you about your brakes when I get a chance.
