The cars aren't going anywhere, they will be Toyota's.

Not that FR-S resale values are anything to write home about, but I wonder how this is going to affect them. Other orphaned brands have fared poorly. but since the car will continue on as a Toyota there's a chance this won't have an impact.

I thought ft86club emailed me some clickbait lol.

I'm happy with this. Toyota FR-S doesn't sound so hot though. GT86 please!

Wonder if the Toyota version in North America will stay "youthful" what with the white gauges and red bolsters and all that. The GT86 has those same things, right?

I just want to get an "86" airbag cover hopefully a lot cheaper. If they can sell it separate. Will complete my rebadge.

Your average person would have a tough time naming 3 models - nevermind the newer ones. I dont think their nomenclature helped. Toyota is a great brand, everyone would have been prouder to announce they own a toyota than a scion. This will help them.

I wonder if they'll keep the trim levels to one. Truth be told(and I've said it quite a few times), I would've bought a Scion if it had the option for leather. It was literally the only reason why I bought the BRZ. Then again, I'm sure the BRZ still would've been cheaper...lolz.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything out there is 100% fact. I'm just tired of seeing when some posts something from whatever site, and everyone starts jumping on OP's back with "clickbait lol" or something like that. My point is not everything out there is 100% BS either.

I've always liked the Toyota badge better than the Scion badge but liked the FR-S badging better than the GT86 one. I guess my previously weird wish to badge my car as a Toyota FR-S is ok now.
