It's best to put them to full soft so you know where that is. Then you can move the adjuster over one "click" by seeing the number (on the KW 2mm adjuster) move to the next position.

I can see how it can be kinda tricky to see what position or click you're in using a 2mm allen alone. Spend the $25 on the adjuster if you don't have one.
How far is it to full soft from stock settings? Full turn? Couple turns? I feel no clicks or notch feeling at all. Checked the website and the adjuster is $41 usd before shipping lol. That's a VERY expensive allen key for me

One full turn is 6 clicks.
It is very hard to feel each spot.

I just used a generic allen key and went about 3/4 of a turn. Car does feel plusher now.

When you get to the end - full soft or full hard - is there a definitive stop? I wouldn't want to accidentally exceed some threshold and possibly cause damage

Yes, there's a point where it's very obvious that you've reached the end. Just go slow with the turns and you'll know when you've reached the limit.

Ideally you put it to full stiff (it will stop) and then turn back from there.
I just use an allen key as well. It's pretty easy to soften up one-sixth of a turn at a time. Could even just do half turns (3 clicks)
