I'm not having any issues, I love my current setup.
I was just describing early problems and what I did, to try and help out the other fellow.

We had a 'local' event out in Beeville TX yesterday - 70+ second course! I managed 3rd in PAX behind a couple multi nats champs. I was pretty happy with this run, though I did turn in early on a couple elements

Note the 3rd gear grab at 1:04. Just a couple seconds of 3rd gear netted a consistent and stable 0.4 second improvement through to the finish vs riding the 2nd limiter. Use 3rd when you can :P

@AustinTX Fun Fact, your car made my 'vision board' this year along with a few other ones. Typed in "STX BRZ" and yours was under images. Needed the motivation to move from DS to STX.



Here's Sunday's outing. 13/74 in PAX, but finally got some class win points towards the end of the year. Not having any power mods and pulling out of the tight decreasing radius turn was painful. Saw some people going 1st there, but my syncros told me otherwise.

Especially on the '17-'20 cars. 2nd gear tops out at such a low speed.

Yeah, mine is a '19. I pushed the limiter to 7800 and am on the 255's which puts me just shy of 61MPH at top of 2nd. Many of our courses have me rev limiting often

Sounds like I should push my limiter up. I'm also on 255's and according to GPS I top out in second at 58mph.

Saturday's event. Turned into a test and tune for me messing around with damper settings. Fun fact, turning them on the much lower end will make the car all wonky and basically spin... almost found that out. I found out the recommended settings from RCE tend to work best.

Still getting a feel for the suspension and tires. I could have probably pushed a lot more and got on throttle earlier. I'm still not trusting the car... yet.

Sunday's event. 15/116 in PAX and I actually felt like I could finally start to trust the car like I did on my old DS setup. Interesting observation, but it's almost like the harder you drive it, the better it feels. If you're not driving it hard, it understeers and just lacks grip everywhere.

Several events into the season, but first time putting the data logger and camera on.
This is a multi-region event that my home region puts on called Winnemucca Wildcard. Similar to Montana's Top Gun event if you are familiar.
I was a good bit off pace on Saturday and netted 10th PAX out of 105 drivers.
Sunday was much better, getting 2nd PAX for the day (8th RAW) with the run below.
Ended up 6th PAX overall for the two-day cumulative scoring.

Back on the home turf at Expo Idaho with Snake River Region.
Managed 2nd pax on this run. Was a fun course.
