1st generation tail lights
So the used frs I bought already had true valenti tail lights but 1 went 90% out. So there isno longer the original part of the wiring harness that the original bulbs went into. I bought spec d tail lights to replace and by default they require that part of the harness. Any suggestions?

They should still be attached to the Valenti tail lights
If not, you can find them at a salvage yard, used, or buy a new set of 2: Toyota PN SU003-05120 / Subaru PN 84931CA011 |

I wish that part of the harness was there. This version/type of valenti came with the plug to the main harness already part of the lights. So the previous owner(out of state) had thrown the original bulb harness away.

contact a salvage yard. many will cut out the harness you need from one of their wrecked vehicles.

I got the required part of the factory harness from the dealership on sale. 19.30 for each side. I got the lights installed last night and prefer them over the previous aftermarket Valenti lights.

Honestly 1st gen tails do not look bad at all. I know a lot of people despise them, but (like with any tail light) it all depends on the build.
