I like the new front and rear water lines. Cleaner setup with the AN fittings.

Interesting moreso on the HX Core internal.
Obviously relocating the outlet/inlet opposing means they're most likely going to a single pass HX versus prior which was dual pass (assuming...I haven't looking to my own HX to confirm). Regardless, would certainly agree the AN Lines are slick

Now with that, they could have been able to increase pumping flow across a single pass to up the capacity of the heat exchanger, or add more fins per inch (at a negative impact to airflow) to increase heat exchange effectiveness. Or, it can be something crazy like a 3-pass system.

So if I'm not mistaken, it looks like the most substantial (only?) non-cosmetic changes are a different nose piece to accommodate the larger FA24 throttle body and the inclusion of an uprated fuel pump for the FA24 kit. The carbon air filter housing piece and the red manifold are purely cosmetic.
I can't really tell from pictures whether where the nose piece attaches to the manifold is a different shape than on the old kits, but I don't *think* so. If that's the case, I'd expect that the "new" FA20 kits are identical to the old ones, especially since any change would probably mean having to redo the CARB certification. Still my favourite supercharger option for the twins! Glad to see they're available again.

No - according to the video, the CARB cert for the FA24 kit is not done yet. "For our US market, we'll be putting this through a CARB E.O. application just like the FA20 kit."

Does anyone know if the Harrop SC kit requires a check valve on the brake booster vacuum line?
I bought a damaged 86 with a Harrop SC on it. I pulled the SC off and transplanted it onto another car. I noticed a check valve on the brake booster hose on the damaged car but I didn't remove it and the wreck is now gone. Do I need a check valve? The Harrop installation instructions don't mention it. |

Harrop's Instructions are slightly unclear - I would concur. They want you to use the OE Line and add a barb'd adapter to make it reach the new SC location on the front side of the snout.
I ended up running a new line, and simply cut out the existing check valve and transplanted it within the new hose. Much cleaner install

Hello all - I ordered the tuner kit from harrop for my 2020 US BRZ and am about half way through installing when I ran into a bit of a problem - the air box doesn't seem to match up to the stock half on the dirty side (seems larger and the clips don't align) anyone else have this problem?
