I'm still in the rotary camp but am to the point where I just don't want to bother with them anymore. I feel like I've done all that I can with the FC and FD. I didn't make it through my a-code NA 20b swap 10 years ago on my GXL. That is pretty much my only regret with the platform. I don't want to bother trying again as the bad taste is still there, and things have only become rarer and more expensive.

I'm enjoying looking into an all new (to me) platform. Science of Speed has become my new best friend, amd I love that they are still evolving their in house parts for a 25 year old car.

304 stainless fasteners can go to hell. Not a big fan of any 300 series stainless fastener really. The big issue was our production guys used to run the nut down at too high of a speed with an impact and the damn things would gall before they were even tight. Switching them to low power 1/4 air ratchets solved it for the most part.

You have been around the block and understand things well enough that I don't think the experience matters at certain point I just gained most of my understanding through messing shit up

For me the RX8 is very appealing... plenty of parts and good aftermarket as well. What is your thoughts regarding rx8?

Some what off-topic, at my college job (on-campus), my first boss was an 80 year old retired HS principal working as a manager for "marketing".

He gave me a couple rides to campus because at the time our office/department were in an off-campus satellite office.

Anyway, his car was a black RX8. I wish I could remember if it was manual, but it's been like 12 years ().

He wasn't a car guy at all and I'm sure he bought it just as a mid or late life crisis car.

Wonder if he: 1. is still around, 2. driving it.

Well, I had to replace my S4 phone. I lost all my contacts with my new phone. Now I have to send out "who is this?" Messages every time I get a message. Lost lots of business contacts . Sucks.

Actually, you’ll forget things you once knew. And if @humfrz is driving, you’ll run into things.

did you lose/break your old phone?

android to android, you should be able to save a backup of all your contacts and import them into your new phone.

i save a backup of my contacts to my computer. i haven't lost the entire list ever. but plenty of damaged phones lose a few here and there.
