FR-S has been sitting for two years

For the last two years my FRS has been sitting collecting dust outside in Cleveland, occasionally being started, but not driven, every 3-6 months. I am looking to restore it back to working order, appropriately. The goal is to have it back on the road by May '23. I am looking for recommendations for what I should address. I already know that I will need to replace brake pads, rotors and tires but I was wondering what else I should address in case anyone else has experience with this.

2 years is not that bad. Change all fluids. I would not worry about pads and rotors they may clean themselves up. Check date on tires. If they held air the entire time the flat spots will work out with some heat cycles.

I'll add...might want to remove the intake box and hose to clean and inspect for signs mice/squirrel living in it (feces, nuts and other food, debris, etc). Inspect the cabin filter for the same. And inspect any wiring you have access to in the engine bay for being chewed up by mice.

+1 for intake filter. Not sure how sensitive the FA20s are, but my motorcycle died a couple of times 2 weeks ago. Turned out to be a dirty air filter.

Also, run some fuel additives like PEA cleaners, or ethanol neutralizer/cleaner, etc.

OH OH OH I forgot about that step. Yes this is very important even if the car was stored indoors.

Yup. My friend didn't drive his Q50 for a month or two and left it in the garage. Mice chewed up one of the harnesses.

What otherwise might be mistaken for crickets might actually be mice squeaking as they squish through the intake valves, sliced and diced as they pass thru, only to be smeared on the cylinder walls until fully incinerated.

TL: DR

The engine might run a bit rough for the first while.
