Killer B exhaust tip extensions

Installed my exhaust tip extenders. Not much to say about the install. You need a 10mm and 15mm socket. Remove the exhaust tip with the 10mm, slip the extender on with the slot facing up so it aligns with the raised portion of pipe. Tighten clamp with 15mm, then reinstall tip. Play with the distance you want to extend to your own taste. Please see pics below. Will get a picture of as far in it will go tomorrow after work.

Just to confirm, since their site just says they're for 2022+, will this fit a 2017-2020 BRZ? I want to stick with my stock exhaust, but the inset tips SUCK...LOL.

I don't have an answer for you because we only own a Gen 2, but Dragoontwo posted some good pics of the OEM muffler with the tips removed. If you're Gen 1 has the same nub and diameter, it would likely work.

I own a 2017 86. I thought it has the nub. I'm interested in trying these.
Hey KillerBMotorsport, if I order these and they don't fit will you refund me? If they do fit I'll post here.

According to this link from parts.subaru.com, the stock tips are the same part # from 2015-2022, so I think that's our answer. The tips are the same, so the pipes they bolt onto should be the same (at least where the tips bolt on).

If only the UPS shipping weren't 50% the cost of the part (!!!), I'd be all over these...

Looks like Killer B has added a US Mail shipping option for the tip extenders, which is MUCH more reasonable. Order placed...

As long as they are in new condition still, I don't see why not.

Correct, and thank you!!

This new shipping option is available for all our smaller items like oil temp/pressure adapters, shift knobs, extensions, and so on

Sadly, it appears that my order still shipped UPS, despite choosing the US Mail option, and now I'm going to be charged brokerage fees for customs clearance into Canada, which based on past experience with UPS are likely to be about the same cost as the product itself...

PM me your shipping info and I can see if we can have it sent back and shipped USPS, with a refund for the UPS cost.

@KillerBMotorsport got me sorted out, and I got the tip extenders installed last night.

Fitment on my 2020 BRZ was perfect, so I'd say they're good for 2017+ BRZ's at least, if not 2015+.
