Jong's 2nd Gen BRZ
Decided to start a journal on my 22 Sapphire Blue BRZ as I realized I don't have many pictures from my previous cars.
This car ended up replacing a 2019 TRD 86 that I drove for a couple of years (and loved). Before that, I was in a 09 Honda Civic Si 4 Door (FA5). I felt that each car was an upgrade over the other, the FA5/K20 was great, but nothing replaces the feeling of RWD. Replacing one shitbox with another. Had a great experience at Orange Coast Subaru on Black Friday weekend. Carvana was offering bonkers money for the 19 and I was able swoop up a Sapphire Blue Limited that a customer had backed out on. Drove like a grandma for the first 800~ish miles, then ended up letting the boys at Remark test fit their R1-Spec catback and rip on the car (video below). Got an Oil change at 1K miles with the complimentary maintenance at Orange Coast Subaru. Car's currently at 3000 miles and 0 complaints. Such a huge upgrade over the first gen. Since that time I've gotten all the suspension components installed and dialed in. Car is currently at -2.7 camber in the front with ~-2.5 in the rear. Was also able to get a Remark Elite-Spec Catback Exhaust system installed (Sound clip below): |

Swapped the seat out at the ~1k mile mark. My favorite interior mod so far Got rid of the airbag light by using a simple 2.2 watt resistor (found the guide on these forums). Removes the need for knee pads and I sit what seems like at least 2-3 inches lower than before. Any of you GR86 Premium owners in SoCal looking to trade their grey accented seats/interior trim pieces for mine (red accents)? Looking to get the red out of mine if possible. A few more shots
All of the nicer photos are courtesy of my buddy akitakuya on IG. Any of the blurry/unfocused pictures are probably from me |

Agreed. Nice looking BRZ. I was thinking the GR86 was better, but that BRZ is looking just as solid now. That blue on white wheels is a great combo. The exhaust, lowered and tucked rear shot is excellent.

I generally noticed that when the 22 BRZ is properly lowered, it looks much improved on the front end for whatever reason. I believe with its stock height, the front end looks a little thin and odd on the BRZ, while the GR86 has a larger grille, giving it a bit of a "taller" look if that makes any sense? Also these are just really nice shots and angles, can't deny that!
