MTEC Clutch Spring

Does anyone know if the MTEC CLUTCH SPRING works on the 2022 BRZ? Been driving my car for a week now and think the clutch feel could be improved.

Not sure if it would work, but I wouldn't bother with it. I haven't had a chance to do it yet, but I feel like the new car can benefit from adjusting the clutch pedal height like the last car.

^ The clutch engagement point on the gen2 seems more in line with the other MT vehicles... took some getting used to after driving the first gen without the spring swap for a couple of years.

I feel that it's still a bit "off". That's after 1.5 years of driving my '20 with only adjusting the clutch pedal height.

I think the '22 is almost there but still needs a smidge of lowering.

Spring is different. Looks like they are interchangeable though. The 2022 spring has more coils so it should be softer.

Wow I would really love this mod. I find the clutch way too soft and it doesn't provide any feedback of where the clutch is.

Also, is there anyway to adjust the engagement point on the pedal? I've noticed this car the engagement is closer to the top while I prefer it to he in the middle or even slightly towards the bottom.

If you mean full engagement, no, not really. The engagement arc, the distance between bite and full engagement can be shortened this way, but It still has very little dead travel.

Ultra's slave cylinder swap changed my life. Just throwing that out there. It looks like the 2022 uses the same slave cylinder as gen1, so it should still work?

I just put one of these on my 2022 this evening, and all went well. fits right in, I imagine it does the same thing as it did on the last gen.

Kind of a pain to crawl under the dash though.

Definitely like it better than the stock spring. The clutch feels more like I'm used to having in my other cars, and not just a heavy spring without feeling the clutch engage at all.
