A Lexus grill on one of these is ugly as hell.
Guaranteed bumper swaps would be a thing if there was any merit to this being a possibility.

I am sure that both the guys that bought these grills for the First Gen were happy with them!

oh yay another aftermarket Lexus knock off front bumper.

anyways, back on topic. i think a Lexus 86 would have made more sense back in 2012 when the market for coupes wasn't as small. lastly i think 2 coupes in Lexus line up is enough. unless they plan on killing the RC and replacing it with a reskin 86. even the Germans are slimming down on their coupe offerings.

I actually considered the RC with the NA V-6 for a brief moment but couldn't get past that front bumper.

Wow this rumor just got up and running.....

It'll literally be a mini-RCF at this rate, without the V8

The funny part is that if this came out it woud be almost exactly the car so many people said they wanted. But now it would be "way to expensive", "is ugly", "should have 100 more HP", the HU will be "too big, small or wrong place", "It shouldn't be badged a Lexus" or is "way too heavy" at 100 pounds more.
All in al we will be back to wanting a Lexus level car at a Toyota/Subaru price.

Lexus UC

I remember just reading about this not long ago on the forums, couldnt find it, but Car and Driver just released some info about Lexus reportedly doing their own version of the 86, with a hybrid transmission, that is.
