Well, I did do some homework. Problem fit the description: no heat, clicking on and off noise. I knew it was a gamble, and I was willing to take it for $40.

I lost.

You are the exception from everyone I know. I had a conversation with a group of 20 college buddies that keep in touch. To a man, everyone of them that had a Samsung refrigerator in the last 10 years has had it fail, or stop functioning.

The interwebs are covered with people complaining about them. Ours is a french door model that has an icemaker in the top and the bottom. We haven't used the top on in 4 of the 6 years we've owned it because it completely freezes up. The bottom one makes ice, but it's basically "ice parts" not "ice cubes".

The coil behind the back wall in the refrigerator compartment has frozen over twice, and I've had to defrost it to clear it up.

We do have a Samsung range that works OK, but did have to have the door lock replace twice because it broke itself trying to lock.

Anyone know how you "@" someone that has a space in their name? I tried @"one two" and @ONE_two as well as @<usernumber> but not of that seems to work.

I've been able to summon @Kaotic Lazagna just like this < (just the actual name with a space between.

It was 19° on my deck this morning. That might be a little too cold.
